The Buddy Programme is about connecting Czech student-volunteers with incoming international students in order to provide you, the international students, a helping hand in the beginning of your stay. It is also about giving the Czech students an opportunity to practice a foreign language and to meet students from abroad.
Your buddy should be there for you and answer any questions you might have regarding your studies or your stay in Prague. He/she should pick you up the airport/train station or at least explain how does the public transportation work.
Your buddy should/can give you some tips on where to go and what to see during your the first days. After that, it is all up to you, but the Buddy Programme is known for making great friendships happen!
Request nowWe want to kindly inform you that this is a volunteer based activity of local Czech students and there might not be a volunteer available for everyone, since all buddies are students - just like you. Moreover, be advised, that this registration is not an official university information system. The official registration will take place upon your arrival.
